suspicious thyroid nodules

I’m awaiting advice and more tests from endocrinologist but was wondering if I should still take my 2.5 mg of Carbimazole every few days?

Hey there again ;

i remember writing to you a year ago suggesting you chop the AT drug into 2 and taking a little bit every day to dovetail better with the body's natural 24 hour cycle with a view to coming off the AT completely and seeing if your thyroid levels improved a little bit to ease the hypothyroid symptoms you were then tolerating.

I also suggested you started monitoring yourself twice daily - am & pm on your blood pressure, pulse and temperature just to ensure these physical, critical symptoms remained constant. so you had some understanding of your body's reaction to reducing and hopefully coming off the AT drug.

Did you try this at all - and it didn't work out - I'm sorry, I know its difficult and as you have Hashimoto's as well as Graves symptoms can be confusing :

I'd suggest if you've not been told to come off the AT drug - stay put now - as sadly it seems you have further thyroid issues to be soon evaluated.

Thank you for replying.

I did try what you said but only for a couple of weeks as it all got to much with my other diagnosis (acoustic neuroma) which grew too quickly and finally had surgery 6 weeks ago.

I’m now concentrating on this problem with a possible parathyroid problem plus they have found incidental findings of a meningioma and something on my pituitary so hopefully some genetic testing too.

Funnily enough since posting this I now have an appointment tomorrow with endocrinologist so will ask them too.I will suggest your advice as I don’t think the way I do it is working and that I’m getting correct dosage.
