I’ve managed to stay on T3 for a while now and I’m getting ready to do a thyroid test. I take two doses of T3, one around 6am with my Levothyroxine and the second T3 dose at 2pm. If I do my test 8am I’d imagine it’s fine as far as the Levo is concerned but is this gap OK for the T3? And is it just 48 hours before the test I need to stop taking vitamins if I’m not taking biotin?
Managing to stay on T3 for this time around is a huge miracle for me! I am feeling the benefit but it doesn’t feel like I’ve quite got my levels right yet.
Thank you! x

I started with 2.5mcg, then worked up to 10mcg. I take 5mcg 6am and then 5mcg 2pm. I tried dropping back to just 2.5mcg at 2pm but that makes me feel very hypothyroid. Should I try splitting the second 5mcg into 2 doses so I am dosing 3 times daily? When I tried T3 previously in the evenings it kept me awake but perhaps my body will adjust?
Do not test until the afternoon, right before your second dose. Either that, or do not take your morning T3 until after the morning blood test. I’ve always done afternoon testing.
