hot sweats

hi I’m here again 😂 just wanted some advice the doctor has reduced my Levo from 200 mg to 175 and I’ve only been on the reduced dose for about a week so I’m just wondering why I’m getting hot flushes all of a sudden when I didn’t have them on 200 mg as anyone any ideas x

I get sweats when my levo is reduced. If you were happy on your dose, why did you have it lowered? All part of the wonderful world of hypothyroidism? Did you complain to your doctor about other symptoms?

They like to meddle and most especially if you give them cause. Otherwise it may be your TSH was too low (for them, not you).

they said it was a bit to high , how long does your new dose settle do you know please x

The longer I do this the less I seem like other patients. I have all sorts of co-morbidities so I doubt I would be a good comparison.

This time sweating is the least of my problems but that has not settled either. It has definitely settled in the past but that was when I was in the process of increasing my levo.

Not much help I know. I hope someone else will come along and comment.

I am 70+ so for me it’s not other hormonal issues.
