Could agrochemicals in the air have affected my thyoid?

Hello again!

This week I had one of the worst hypothyroid days i’ve had since diagnosis (2 years ago). Could the trigger have been exposure to some kind of spray on the field next door 2 days previously- but wouldn’t that of made me ill straight away? Anyone any ideas?

I didn’t realize they were spraying, just felt something in my throat but thought nothing much of it, then the spray tractor appreared, too late then to go inside & avoid it then, nasty chemicals!

What adverse symptoms did you experience Bluesadawg? I live in a rural area and find I need to use antihistamines and (preservative free) eye drops regularly when farmers spray crops.

That sounds horrible, nightmare :-(.

I was totally exhausted. I set my alarm & had a nap for half hour, woke up feeling worse: really fuzzy head & feeling weird, couldn’t tollerate anyone anywhere near me or speeking to me; very fatigued, unable to look after myself or anyone elseor do anything., even stand up for long. I had to hide in the bedroom for 5 hours, slept for another 4 & a half of those (them still slept the full normal night afterwards). The next day I had to be careful still with myself to avoid tipping over into it again. I get all these symptoms sometimes anyway, but this was much worse. Sorry to go on, but since you asked 🥰
