Testosterone gel for menopause and it's effect on thyroid hormones etc.

I've recently had an increase in Levothyroxine from 100mcg to 125mcg on alternate days. I've also been given a private prescription for testogel, which I've not started yet as I wanted to wait until I see improvements (I hope) with increase Levothyroxine.

I want to know if taking the testogel will knock the delicate balance of thyroid test results or can I go ahead without too much worry?

I've no personal experience, but as all hormones need to be in balance to feel at our best, I think you're wise to delay the testosterone until you've trialled the levo increase for a while. The mantra 'only change one thing at a time' applies here in my opinion
