Lactoferrin. Has anyone used it?

Dear Forum Members.

I’m reading about Lactoferrin as a supplement to improve ferritin levels. So far, I’ve read that there are two types.

I’m wondering if anyone has any experience of using this supplement or knows anything about it? Many thanks.

Lactoferrin appears to have been used to reduce ferritin (when there is an excess) as well as deliver iron.

It depends on whether it is lactoferrin which already has iron bound to it - or lactoferrin without iron!

However, it has many other effects and uses.
