hi all, in a bit of a rut. I’ve posted in here before in regards to this. So I was diagnosed with autoimmune hypothyroidism back in April after running the London marathon. Since then I have had continuous symptoms mostly weight gain, brain fog, bloating, dizziness, vertigo, fatigue and irregular and lighter periods but mostly just overall feeling crap. I’ve seen 3 x different GP’s who have said my levels are in range so they won’t increase my levothyroxine dose (50mcg per day) - they said it is all in my head and it’s anxiety symptoms that’s causing me to feel so rubbish. Had some CBT for anxiety and 5 weeks later nothings changed, I still feel just as bad. Last bloods were 5 weeks ago. I’ll post my results below. Any advice would be much appreciated. I’m a mum of 2 young ones and I’m struggling!! Xx

I just replied on your previous post

Free T4 (fT4) 13.8 pmol/L (12 - 22) 18.0%
Free T3 (fT3) 4.1 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 27.0%
Take these results and percentage results to GP
Most people when adequately treated of levothyroxine will have Ft4 (levothyroxine) at least 60-70% through range
I would ask your gp or Endo for a dose increase. Call them tomorrow. You can chat with them over the phone maybe.
