Has anyone got information on how much iron infusions cost in other (cheap to fly to!) countries? Thanks

Unless you tell us where you live we won't know which countries are "other".

If you are in the UK what prices are you finding that are too expensive for you?

I had a search around and found some offers at much lower cost.

Do, of course, check carefully the credentials of the people and exactly what they are offering. But it might be well worth spending some time searching further.

One thing to be aware of is that any reputable medical clinic for any medical condition should always insist on a consultation before agreeing to treatment. And private medicine consultations in the UK for anything usually do cost about £200. (I've actually been charged more, but it wasn't for something iron-related.) So I'm not sure if you can save much on that.

As for the infusion itself, I don't know how they decide how much iron to infuse, but I'm assuming that the more they give the more expensive it is, and the longer it will take to complete. And you will need to be monitored while its happening so there will be staff costs for that.

Unfortunately, few iron clinics advertise their prices so you would have to email them for details.

To find iron clinics in the UK I searched for "iron infusion near me". I did this and found results in London, Manchester, Cambridge, Birmingham, Gloucestershire.

I tried "iron infusion Scotland" and found possibilities in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Tayside.

I did the same search and added on "Ireland" to the search and found a place in Dublin. I also tried France and found a place in Paris. I tried Greece too, but didn't get any English websites so couldn't read them. You could try using Google Translate or other methods of translating web pages.
