sorry I dropped off but thanks for all the responses - just been getting a few things sorted. Realised a drink I was consuming had a lot of aspartame in it 😡 and didn’t make the connection to the depression until yesterday 🤬 aspartame has done this to me before 🙄, the depression has eased a lot today which is good but my heart rate has rocketed and won’t come down so I know I’m definitely back to hyperthyroid I’ll still pop in for the blood test I guess either that or I’m getting stressed about the test et but I think it’s hyper again tbh but I’ve decided I’m not pursuing further treatment and honestly I feel much better for deciding that 🙂
You’ve all been so helpful though thank you xxx

Looks like it says 1.4mg but I’ve not been through all the other yet either to double check - I’ve rearranged the appointment to 4th July anyway 😕
Can I just register (and I mean this in a friendly concerned way with hugs) that I really dislike the name you've chosen for yourself. Everyone on here is important including you. So, I hope you feel better soon Mr, Mrs or Miss Very Important. xx
Hi there important!Being hypothyroid can also cause palpitations. Especially when you become hypothyroid suddenly as in running out of thyroid medication or suddenly having too little T3 due to carbimazole. It can, as you know, be caused by being hyper. Doctors seem generally unaware that low T3 can cause palpitations/a racing heart.
