Fostair any interactions with Levothyroxine

Hi I’ve been using Fostair inhaler 100/6 for asthma for a while now. I have had a bad asthma flare for the past few months so been prescribed the higher dose 200/6 which is helping. Just happened to look at the instructions and says to speak to GP if you take levothyroxine for UAT. Don’t know what it means? Does anyone else use this inhaler and have you had any issues? Thank you.

No - I have no idea. But often helpful to look at the the active ingredients because trade marks and brand names can vary - e.g. multiple products or different names in different countries. (Even, sometimes, different active ingredients in different markets.)

In the UK, Fostair has:

Beclometasone dipropionate and Formoterol fumarate dihydrate

I have used the Fostair 100/6 for several years now without any issues, but then again, I only take 25mcg Levothyroxine with 55mcg Liothyronine a day.
