Help regarding test being taken

So I've paid to have the private medical check blood test for advanced thyroid. I've been twice now to get my bloods done at superdrug. 10 pricks later still no blood . We I've paid extra to get the nurse to come to the house. The only issue is test is a Thursday at 7.45. The post for it is 24hrs but I was going ro pay for the signed one to get there for next day before 9am. Will this be OK to do a Thursday as I see alot say only do a Monday or Tuesdays.

Thanks so much

Really, needs to be done Mon or Tues, latest Wed, to leave time to get there by post and for the lab to process it. If it arrives Fri, then the lab won't be able to process it until after the weekend, and it probably won't work.

Oh no really? I called Medicheck they said it would be ok. I'm so confused what to do. They said the lab put a stabiliser in it not sure what this is but they said basically to keep the blood fresh?? .So not to do it then ? I'm struggling to get anyone to do it and the nurse that comes to the house can't come for a month. And I'm getting so down waiting I've had wasted the last 2 weeks with them not being able to get my blood .😭

If you've called Medicheck and they've said its ok, then go for it. Especially if you can get the bloods there by 9am. Sounds like you're having a bit of a nightmare x

It's been 10 needles so far. No blood from 2 separate visits. The nurses tried their best. So that's why I've paid to upgrade to nurse house call.

Did try my local drs but they won't take the blood.

I'm keeping everything crossed as I said I'll pay extra for it to get there before 9am 🙈

Thanks so much 😊

Good luck. Go for it. Do a lot of jumping up and down, swinging those arms before the nurse arrives! Hope it works out x

Thanks very much, yes I did post them earlier this morning . I just wanted to ask guidance from a few that gave me the initial advice as they were so helpful they were the reason why I ordered the private blood test. Thanks so much . This group is so helpful xx
