Finally, I am pleased to say, that the wait for further strengths of Vencamil (Levothyroxine Aristo) will be coming to an end. I’ll confirm more accurate timings nearer the time but, I can confirm that the 25mcg, 50 mcg and 75mcg strengths should be available in pharmacy (and listed on GP prescribing systems) towards the end of August this year.
Shame that is still a way off but good to have confirmation of a date window. Immediately in my calendar - have just used 21st as a proxy for end of August.

And I believe all will be readily splittable (by finger pressure) which opens up the possibility of 12.5 as half a 25 and 37.5 as half a 75 and in combinations thereof to achieve multiple doses that can otherwise be difficult to get. (MHRA will not support splitting, I'm sure, but argue as alternate day dosing, if needed.)
what a bunch of saddo's luv u all really ..... i'm going to do something REALLY exiting and attempt to cut the grass ..... which will obviously make it rain , so i may be back in 10 minutes.
I've finally got Vencamil in 100s but the 25 had to be Mercury Pharma never had before so will monitor closely over next two months. My update coming soon from 1st endo chat, I might have low cortisol.
That's good news helvella 👍 I've just been prescribed that, 100 micrograms tablets, I've to take 25micrograms first so splitting the 100.. But I'm going slower than 25micrograms due to gastric issues doing 12.5 using my cutter, although it's OK cutting the 100 tablets it can be a pain at times😣 so this should be very much easier, when I actually get to take them in 5 days time👍
Never knew that, but I've just been prescribed them, started them on Monday, but due to another round of botched thyroid blood tests at my surgery I've now to stop them for 10 days until they leave my system and get bloods done again 🤦 I'm really hoping these ones work and I have no gastric issues 🤞🤞🙏🙏🙏🙏
