Thank you....though " Hypothyroidism of the muscle" is an odd term....surely....the cells in the muscle.

Yes does seem a strange term. I suspect it is because we have cells everywhere and in abundance in muscle. I might have named it a bit different :)

Cellular hypothyroidism is the correct term.

My mind is being blown away by what I am reading at the moment. Could also explain why my gallbladder, gallstones, toxic bile sludge went away as soon as I went on T3. Here is a good article DippyDame palomahealth.com/learn/cell...

Yes....I'm now convinced, after much reading, that my many symptoms/ illnesses right from childhood all came from low ( cellular) T3.

I also think it's something I've inherited from my maternal family

I've just posted the article by Mark Doyle....along with another T3 rant!!

Just going to find what you posted DippyDame. Like you, it would explain a lot of mine too, and from childhood. I was reading we inherit all our mitochondria and such from our maternal side.

It's a miracle that any of us manage to fully function when so many things can/ do go wrong!!!
