Any information about Levothyroxine, pros & cons please.

Hi could anyone give me any information on which is the best tablet to help with Thyroid. I have tried previous tablets in the past but these cause me to have severe anxiety. So the actually issue isn't that I have too much or too less thyroid, I have been told the pituitary gland is having to work harder to nudge signals and being over worked which is causing it to burn out. Heard alot of different things but is there a certain brand which is recommended that may help me? Any advice welcome 🙏

I was only on 25mg,I'm having blood test tomorrow so will post once I get my results,thanks for your reply much appreciated.

It takes a while for thyroxine to begin to work and symptoms may get worse before they get better.

You need to slowly increase your dose of thyroxine with regular blood tests every 6/8 weeks. 50mcg is a starting dose usually.

My anxiety is really bad at the moment/panic attacks and the medication seemed to make it worse,but don't feel like I have another option.
