Hi everyone ❤️

As I posted yesterday, about how I'm feeling due to maby a uti (luckosites and bilirubin showing in urine) feeling sick.

My gp phone appointment was cancelled and re made for tomorrow, unfortunately I have my parathyroid surgeon calling between 8.30 and 5.30 she is extremely busy and her secretary could only give me those times😔

The surgery also said between surgery hours for gps call, now I know the odds of one calling the same time is like winning the lottery, but it would just be my luck I'd get both within the same time 🤦 I had my 4D Ct scan done last Wednesday and the parathyroid surgeon is calling with my results, I feel I really need to speak to her, but I also know I really need my lack of thyroid medication sorted with gp to.

Just spoke to the gp reception to try to workout some comprise... Here it is.... The phone appointment with gp as been moved to March 15th the only available appointment at this time, no face to face available 😔

So not taken any thyroid medication since January 31, gps are awear of this and why I've chosen to do this, there does not seem to be any urgency about seeing me on this matter, and I tried telling the receptionist how frightened I am not taking any thyroid medication as I have no thyroid... Right over her head and the jobs worth approach 😔

Does anyone think I should now contact PALs?

Would it be worth doing?

I'm honestly wrecked, and we're told to ring the surgery for an appointment between 8 and 9 re the urine dipstick test, been trying for weeks to get an appointment 😡, at my old surgery we could fill in the form, pop the urine tube in the bag and leave in a box, I did that last year at this new surgery to recive a phone call saying the sample had been destroyed as you would need to speak to the gp and he/she would decide if the urine would require being sent for testing.(to save money I presume) can't get a bloody appointment with a gp... FGS!!!..😭😭😭

I would ring 111 explain can’t get urine test

and also no thyroid medication since Jan 31st or appointment with GP

but don’t ring until AFTER you have spoken to the parathyroid specialist

Thanks slowdragon, it's so bad how our nhs work now😡.. I'm so frightened I've gone and cut up the T3 tablet into 5s and taken one 5 eventho im intolorent to it 🤢I tried doing this on the teva t4 when the stupid endo put me back on it but as per I started with the awful side effects, tried the t3 also with same effects, but it's getting scary now... I can bet you if Im taken to hospital they will tell me off for not taking my thyroid medication... Naughty girl 🙄... They just don't get it... They wouldn't suggest giving someone with a nut allergy a tablet that contains nuts 🤷but I feel that's just what there doing to me.. 😡

Again thank you for your advice ❤️

Can you talk to pharmacy to try to get Vencamil Levo

Would I not need a prescription? It might make sence tho slowdragon to speak to a pharmacist about me not having thyroid medication since January 31st, and the urine dipstick test🤔

My friend might take me, as I've no energy to travel on the bus 🤦

The pharmacy can issue emergency medicine to cover while prescription is sorted

Obviously Vencamil might not suit you….but it’s worth a try
