Just so you are aware, you are posting a B12 question on a thyroid group. That's fine, but you might get a better response posting on the Pernicious Anaemia group.
There will be members in this group that also have B12 injections.
Have you just had a TSH only test?
To get a full picture of how well your thyroid treatment is working for you, we need to see TSH, FT4 & FT3.
Also, for thyroid hormone to work well we need OPTIMAL levels of key vitamins - ferritin, folate, B12 & D3.
Obviously you are getting B12 injections now (hopefully!). Are you vegan or vegetarian or do you have PA?
Do you have any other vitamin results because B12 also has cofactors (other vitamins it works with to be effective).
Private tests are available, see link for companies offering private blood tests & discount codes, some offer a blood draw service at an extra cost.thyroiduk.org/testing/priva...
There is also a new company offering walk in& mail order blood tests in London, Kent, Sussex & Surrey areas. Check to see if there is a blood test company near you. onedaytests.com/products/ul...
Only do private tests on a Monday or Tuesday to avoid postal delays.
