I have been taking the Accord brand because I had problems with the ingredient mannitol. The pharmacy have said they can't get it and I need to find another brand. Anyone know of any?
Mannitol: I have been taking the Accord brand... - Thyroid UK
Mannitol
What dose of Levo are you taking? Some brands are only available in certain doses.
Have you tried phoning around other local chemists to see who can get Accord? Independent pharmacies are good for this as they have access to more suppliers.
I get mine from Boots: Almus, which I believe is made by Accord. Helvella would know, or check his list of products/brands.
Accord can also be found at Superdrug, packaged as Almus. I think Teva is the only brand that contains mannitol, so Wockhardt, Vencamil/ (was Aristo) and Mercury might be ok for you. It depends which tablet dosage you need.
Here's a recent post showing what's in current brands

Vencamil is only in 100mcg tablets at present.
50mcg is only the standard STARTER dose
