Different doses different brands of Levo

Hello everyone. I am hoping for some advice.

Following a recent blood test I have now been asked to reduce my Levo. Currently on 75 and now I am reducing to 50 for 2 days a week and maintaining 75 for the rest as I am slightly over medicated.

I have been taking Teva 75 and would like to stay with Teva for the 50 but I have rung around several pharmacies and they don’t stock it at that dose.

My question is will it matter much if I am taking 2 different brands. I don’t want to make a mountain out of my own made up molehill!!

Thank you as always 🙃

Teva is widely available in 25mcg, 50mcg, 75mcg and 100mcg

Try different pharmacies

Your last results in Dec endo said were fine on 75mcg

Have you had newer results since

Thank you SlowDragon. I will continue ringing around.

Yes you are correct I have had new results test date 18th January

TSH 0.21 (0.27 - 4.2)

T4 23.5 (12-22)

T3 5.5 (3.1 - 6.8)

They are mostly the same as those done last December but my TSH has dropped from 0.4 to 0.21

I have just updated these in my bio
