So 8 weeks of 87.5 mcg one day 100 mcg the next.TSH 3.25, so have raised to 100 mcg daily, for 5 days and 87.5 mcg 2 days.Just 9 days into raise and feel heavy and lethargic, why do I feel worse with this raise ,when it really looks like I need raise.

With a TSH that high I am wondering why there is hesitation to go straight to 100mcg immediately?

Hi HealthStatDust, yes ,I would, but 2 years ago I was overmedicated on 112.5 mcg of thyroxine, and I was soo ill.So just want to take it slowly.Just wondering why I feel so heavy and lethargic on this raised dose of 9 days.

That’s understandable and a cautious approach is best in this circumstances.

At this point all I can share is one should expect both negative and positive after dose changes. Think of it like a roller coaster. Be mindful of you reactions to specific brands too.

Hope it resolves itself.

Yes,so hope things will improve,I stopped adding t3 to thyroxine a few months ago too.Always take same brand too. Thanks for your input.
