It rather depends which combination of results you are looking for as the bundles work out cheaper but you need to find the one that covers everything you need without the things you don't... also whether you are happy with finger prick or venous?

Someone was saying Medichecks are offering 20% discount with EARLY20 ( think that was the code)

Thank you so much .. don’t want a finger prick on but a venous sample .. Looking for my sister who takes so many vitamins and has no idea her levels 😞 I personally don’t agree that anyone should just take vitamins.. Unfortunately her GP isn’t forth coming with testing any vitamins except Vitamin D and B12 he is doing her TFT thank goodness ..I will bleed her so she hasn’t got to pay for a phlebotomist.. thank you for the info on 20% offer xxxxxxx

Happy new year xxx

I will bleed her so she hasn’t got to pay for a phlebotomist..

Presumably you are qualified to do so?

What vitamins is she taking

She needs to stop any supplements that contain biotin a week before any tests as biotin falsely affects many test results

if taking iron supplements should stop 5 days before testing

I’m a band 4 phlebotomist slow dragon she wouldn’t let me anywhere near her if I wasn’t .. I’ve trained in Addenbrookes and worked there and Ipswich hospital and now work at a GP surgery I also train staff in phlebotomy so she’s very safe .. She takes vitamin D vitamin c , zinc , magnesium, collagen, liver enzymes, probiotics that’s just a few 🤦‍♀️ x

Sounds like a great mix of minerals and vits to me. I also love b1,b2 and b3. But not the vit d. I would love to have blood taken -no success on donating blood yet ☹️ so she is lucky to have you.

Your sister’s lucky to have a phlebotomist in the family. 🙂

The only cautionary note I’d sound is about whether you’ll be able to make any sense of the results if she takes a lot of vitamins?

Not what you're looking for?
