I’m A Bit Confused About Timings For My Blood Test Tomorrow.

I take 100 mcg Levo Mon-Sat. and 50mcg on Sunday.

Christmas got me mixed up so I ended up with 100mcg on Sunday, so I compensated for it and took the 50mcg last night (Monday).

Today is Tuesday and the time is now 9:30, I have already had my breakfast.

My blood test is at 8:40 tomorrow morning. I’m not sure whether to take another 50mcg today soon or not.

what you should have done was delay Monday evening dose…. until Tuesday morning

And delayed Tuesday evening dose until after test on Wednesday

But too late now

Just don’t take your dose this evening until after blood test tomorrow

This will be false low Ft4 result

If you preferred you might consider taking 50mcg tonight and then 50mcg after test

That might possibly give slightly truer Ft4 result

I’m not sure what she’s testing apart from the T3 that was left off the last test a couple of weeks ago.

I’m all about worry at the moment because I have something else going on healthwise. So my brain isn’t on top of things.

Thank you for your reply.

No point testing Ft3 on its own. It should always be tested at same time as Ft4

Suggest you take 50mcg tonight
