As some members knew, SeasideSusie had been very ill for some time.
We have been informed by her son that Susie passed away peacefully on the morning of 10th October 2023.
Susie has helped so very many here, as a very active forum member for over ten years, and a dedicated moderator for over five years.
Despite her illness, Susie was determined to continue helping members as long as she possibly could.
All who knew Susie will feel such a loss.

So sorry to be reading this. I missed this post when it first came out but I wanted to pass on my condolences and to reiterate what many others have said before.
Susie (and others on this site) made such a huge difference to my life with her advice and wisdom. I hope her family find some comfort knowing how well thought of she was and the positive impact she had on so many.

Susie was very much instrumental in my recovery. She was so incredibly knowledgeable….. she was very calm in her responses and so kind. Feeling very sad….. but also inspired by her contribution. I for one want to pay forward that support I was given….

I will remember her when I do finger prick blood tests; I printed out the details and get the page out each time I do a test. Her advice to give the lance a slight twist makes all the difference.

I've not been on here for a while so was shocked and very sad to read the news of SeasideSusie. She was always on here giving so much invaluable advice to so many. As someone else said I too printed out her advice on the finger prick tests as I was having trouble with them. Very grateful for all her words of wisdom, she will be very much missed.
This is incredibly sad news. My condolences to her family. Like all of the moderators, her replies feel like an absolute lifeline to me and many more of us who have been failed and forgotten by the system. I had no idea she was such incredible work while being so ill. I can’t put into words how grateful I am.

Her assistance truly helped me during a very grave period. Susie was a remarkable human being who was dedicated to helping others. She truly was doing Gods work. I have just logged in after some time due to the very recent passing of my father and read the sad news about SeasideSusie. I feel so much for Susie's family and know exactly what sadness and loss they'll be going through. Susie was a very valued person on this forum for her advice and support. Although she will be greatly missed, she is now at rest free of her suffering and pain. With deepest sympathies to all those that loved her and knew her.
