Huge condolences. Seaside Susie helped me in the recent past. I have only been a member of TUK for a couple of years, so probably don't have the same experience of her.Sorry for everyone's sad loss.
She helped me on more than one occassion, no words can express my deep gratitude for what she did when I was at my most vunerable. We sometimes take you all for granted, thank you one and all, and my love to her family at this very sad time.

I simply cannot believe it. She had been on my mind for the past 3 weeks…. I don’t know why. She was inspirational, kind, caring, thorough in her research and explanations… so compassionate. A truly wholesome human being. I shall miss her inputs and advice so much. Respect and love to this gentle soul. May she rest in peace.

This has made me feel very sad indeed. I had no idea she was poorly.
Seaside Susie helped me enormously when I joing HU the first time 5+ years ago. I hadn't realised how much of a comfort it had been over the years to see the familiar names. The reliability of the Names and support they offered when the medics were so very unreliable. All that expertise given so freely and willingly.

I didn't realise she was ill. She helped me with the answer to a question just a few weeks ago. She was a fount of knowledge where vitamins and minerals were concerned. We have lost a valuable and very kind member.

Seasidesusie (although she didn’t know this) was the one who gave me the inspiration to study health and nutrition and also to become my own health advocate.. she also gave me the passion for vitamins and to help others.. I now work for Holland and Barrett and all that knowledge she gave me is now passed on to customers and I now thrive off helping people get better at work it feels good and I’m sure she felt exactly the same 😌

It is said that if each one of us helps just one person the world would be a better place. SeasideSusie helped so many - 50,901 replies to people’s concerns and worries. That contribution to so many people is remarkable and I hope her family can take some comfort that at a time of loss they also know she was much appreciated and cared for so many people.
SeasideSusie was of great help to me when I were diagnosed with something I didn't understand ( hypoparathyroidism ). She researched and helped me undersyand the condition of which I were grateful. She will be 'very much' missed on the forum and an insperation to many.
My heart felt empathy go out to her family, friends and loved one's She was a great support to many.
Some people are so good at what they do, they become synonymous with it . A new member once asked me where to buy 'SeasisdeSusie' ~ thinking it was the most wonderful brand of vitamin. Ever since then i have pictured Susie rattling her way along the prom, and i will miss her kind presence and invaluable knowledge. The huge amount of work she did here will be remembered by many and will continue to help many more in future.

Such sad news...... She will be missed by many on here. Her fantastic knowledge on vitamins and minerals helped so many, myself included. I always recommended people contact her as she really was the Queen of Vits.

Sadly, we on this forum, have lost a huge asset in that her knowledge on everything to do with thyroid, vitamins, iron etc. and her willingness to always respond to questions from anyone and everyone was invaluable.
I know she certainly helped me on more than one occasion and for that I shall be eternally grateful.

Like others, I'm gutted. I knew she was I'll after we communicated by pm a few months ago over iodine but I was then encouraged when I saw she was active on the forum, helping people understand vitamin D, iodine etc. How we will miss that knowledge!
