Magnesium Bisglycinate - side effect of Low Blood Pressure

Ive been taking magnesium bisglycinate - says to take 3 capsules which equates to 240mgs but only took one capsule at night for a week- I tend to have low blood pressure around 90/60 - a few days ago I felt so awful couldnt get out of bed and took my blood pressure several times over the course of 2 hours and it was around 84/43. I stopped the magnesium supplement and have since improved. Has anyone else experienced low blood pressure as a side effect of Magnesium supplements?

Yep, magnesium does tend to lower blood pressure - you need to be careful if you tend towards low anyway. What are taking it for? Might be better to reduce the dose/take as little as possible for a while. If you always have low BP, you could also take licorice root, which helps raise it.
