I wondered if any like me opt for more endocrine and planet friendlier options for things such as household cleaning products, cosmetics, and the like, and could recommend a retailer, that affectively ‘does it all’?
I have been replacing what things I consume with alternatives, one at time; usually by researching then finding the item I want from a retailer (often Amazon but not always). It sure would be good to know of a place that does it all.
Any recommendations would be gratefully received.

Because I make wine, I also use Raki (an alcoholic drink made of twice-distilled grapes) it's mega pokey and as far as I am concerned it is only fit for cleaning purposes (but the tourists love it!) - it's a very effective cleaner.
If by cosmetics you mean make-up I wouldn't know what to suggest. Apart from Khol eyeliner, I stopped using make-up 30 years ago - I'd moved country and way pre internet, I couldn't get anything I'd used in London without paying a ridiculous amount of money. It was a great lesson for me - I realised that make-up was my "mask" - I decided that if I could accept and love myself as bare faced, it just didn't matter what other people thought! It was very liberating I finally abandoned the eyeliner when I realised it was just too dangerous due to my changing eyesight that meant I kept poking myself in the eye!
Assuming that organic is best for the planet and best for the endocrine system, Neal’s Yard Remedies do a range of skin care products, hair products, bath soaks, essential oils and hand wash. No cleaning products though. Blissful’s distilled white vinegar option sounds like a good choice - economical too!
Big Green Smile does a lot of products, I tend to buy ecover supplies in bulk from them but they also do hair care, skincare, baby stuff, toothpaste etc. from a variety of different brands. Sometimes it’s cheaper on Amazon but not very often. Hope this helps.
For me, as I make these changes to my my life I want to be more mindful of the planet too, hence ideally plastic packaged product are all out of the equation as far as possible. I’ve got sustainable clothes on the agenda too, and I can’t tell you how awful I felt when I bought a new pair of trousers from Sainsbury the other day. Perhaps this is offset a little by the fact that I wrapped a single use plastic bag, with cardboard from chip cartons through an arm crossed over my waist as there was no recycling bin to be seen in town? Yep, I’m all in!

Of all the green cleaning products we’ve used, Zum has the most straight-forward formula. The bottle lists just five ingredients: potassium cocoate (saponified 100 percent coconut oil), sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), fragrance (essential oil), and glycerin (sourced from veggies). It was reassuring to know exactly what was in the bottle and how it impacted both the product and our home.
I was just reading briefly about biodegradable and compostable plastic, as the Ecozone still uses it! Grrr!
A further note on packaging: our Soap Nuts are encased in a biodegradable & compostable wrap that contains enzymes, proteins & peptides derived from plants. This material uses enzyme based chain-and-biodegradation technology to degrade when in landfill. The reason we use this wrap is to protect the Soap Nuts from oxidation and water damage that can happen when in storage, and to ensure your Soap Nuts maintain the same premium quality for as long as you have them.
Apparently, biodegradable and compostable aren’t always as good as it sounds. What to do!!!
Soap nuts are supposed to be pretty good. Might give them a go soon.
Recently bought some Homethings Eco laundry Pods which claim to be green and no nasty ingredients. Only done one wash so far with them but so far so good.
It does annoy me how some of the refillable home cleaning brands are so expensive. Makes it so much harder for many people to use them.
I like the idea of the refillable ones, but it’s a shame there’s plastic in in the bottle in the first place, though of course, refillable is good. And the price is silly.
Yes my experience is everything comes out a bit grey and looking like it needs a wash. We used to use BioD for washing up and even washed the kids in it at one point. We should go back to that! (For washing up I mean! Kids now 21 & 19 🤣)
