hi, can TPO levels decrease on their own without any intervention? Does it matter how high or not the number is as long as it’s over the reference range?

TPO levels/results
TPO or Tg levels also wax and wane over many years almost on a daily basis.
So long as its over the reference range then the test is positive and autoimmune thyroid disease is the diagnosis.
Antibodies fluctuate all the time. And it doesn't mean a thing.
They tend to be highest during, or just after, an autoimmune attack on the thyroid, when they come along to clean up the debris in the blood. In between attacks, their numbers reduce.
