Especially in a socalled centennial paper. But no, the old idea is trotted out yet again, with a "US-exclusive" tone. None of our work is mentioned. If you want to feel frustrated by an ox-like refusal to face possible error, read this. Especially as it emphasises discoveries.

Is it just me or does opening the PDF take absolutely ages for everyone else as well?

I've had this issue with the liebertpub website before, and I always wonder if there are shenanigans going on and it is trying to do naughty stuff to my PC.

I did it on one machine earlier and it wasn't fast but not too bad. Now trying on my other machine and it seems stuck on an almost all grey screen.

Same software, processor, on both machines.

Well, at least we are well on with our intended eBook. Most of the writing is done, so it shouldn't take an age to finalise it. We will be especially careful not to give logic hostages to opponents. It will be strongly based on using current knowledge about the thyroid axis to construct a pathway to optimally diagnose presenting patients and to discuss optimal treatment routes. It of course has thyroid physiology in it, but the emphasis throughout is the interaction with the patient.
