Hi all, wondering if anyone has tried hydrocortisone and LDN at the same time? I've just started low-dose HC for very low cortisol (ahead of adding T3 to T4 shortly, trying to make it easier on adrenal system). I keep going back and forth about LDN and whether it's worth trying or if it's too much at once. I have some reservations about side effects because of past mood issues and ongoing sleep problems, but also have EDS, histamine intolerance, big gut issues, and Hashimoto's, and have seen suggestions that it could help with all those things somewhat. Have heard LDN shouldn't affect other things but curious if anyone's been on this combo with HC?

Hi. Was wondering if you tried this combo? Interested to find out as I'm having the same thoughts x
Oh yes, started LDN in July. Nothing miraculous - it can take a long time to see real impact, but I've noticed pain is a bit more dulled and short-lived, and I recover more quickly from exertion/things that would usually keep me in pain for longer. No effect on antibodies yet, but again, that's a long game, and I had COVID in August so would expect thyroid attacks to be high for a while yet. Definitely worth a try. I used Dickson's private prescribing service and got the sublingual drops (better for gut issues) and take them in the morning because I found it impacted my sleep too much if taken before bed.
That's what l did for a year as taking it at night was effecting my sleep too much and the vivid dreams were making me exhausted...LDN initially helped but that was short lived by I still pursued for a year or so now on HC , not doing too great also didn't want to increase HC more than 20mg so wanted to introduce LDN ????
