I had hyperthyroidism for a few years treated with carbimazole. Dose was lowered & lowered and finally stopped altogether by consultant. I also have B12 deficiency treated with injection. Then when I asked for more B12 GP decided symptoms due to hypothyroid & started me on 25mcg thyroxine daily that was 4 yrs ago. I feel this medication is unnecessary in fact I wonder if it is causing symptoms such as skin problems. My GP is dismissive . Can anyone advise
