Urgent request re timing for blood test

I have a blood test tomorrow morning at 8.50 am and had planned to take last night's T4 dose this morning. I forgot and took it as normal at about midnight. Should I take another dose at 8.50 this morning and just leave out tonight's dose? I'm kicking myself!!

I think thyroxine takes about 10 days to take effect so doubtful it would make much odds.

no just go with it …TSH won’t be affected

Ft4 will be slightly low as it will be 36 hours between last dose and test

Or

You could take half tonight’s dose this morning ….and take rest of the dose after blood test

easily done

Day before test I move my pill dispenser somewhere different…..otherwise it’s so easy to forget and just take pills on autopilot

Good idea. I had thought earlier in the day that I must write myself a note not to take it and then promptly forgot!
