I received a telephone call from my nhs endo today, stating my tsh is 0.8 and will retest in 2 months, if still the same she said maybe REDUCE😕 levo.
I take 75mcg and 15mcg of t3
My query is, did she mean increase levo?

Are you prescribed T3 via endocrinologist
GP should not be meddling
On almost any dose T3 your TSH is likely to drop very low or suppressed
It’s ESSENTIAL to always test both Ft4 and Ft3 and to test correctly.
Test early morning, ideally around 9am latest, last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test and day before split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day with last dose approx 8-12 hours before test
If Ft3 is not over range you’re not on too high a dose
What were Ft4 and Ft3 results
I will request last week's test results asap
How long since increase to 15mcg per day
Are you taking T3 as 3 x 5mcg
Or 1 x 5mcg and 1 x 10mcg
Taking more than 7mcg at one time is more likely to lower/suppress TSH
You only very recently changed to Roma capsules
Bloods should be 6-8 weeks after any dose or brand change
Are you sticking on these or going back to tablets
which brand of levothyroxine are you taking
Are you splitting Levothyroxine dose
Looking at previous posts …..you were planning on increasing levothyroxine to 75mcg/100mcg on alternate days
I started t3 increase 4 weeksago and feel better, not worn out by 3pm.
Im still taking Thybon Henning, 5mcg with 75mcg teva in morning and 10mcg t3 afternoon. Im very worried about changing t3 as I really do not want to feel rubbish again. I m going to request teva t3 as im already taking teva T4
have you actually tried 3 x 5mcg doses
Teva T3 is 20mcg tablets only
Yes, but as I already split 20mcg thybon henning, i will give Teva t3 a go. I must admit, im a bit phased at the moment, new t3 and increase in levo, which first🙄🙄🙄

You'd have to ask her but was FT4 tested, that's the only way to know if Levo dose should be changed. FT4 would have to be high, possibly over range, to warrant a reduction in Levo.
She's probably thinking your TSH is low and by reducing Levo it would increase your TSH but you are taking T3 so your TSH is going to be low anyway and your endo should know this.
With TSH being 0.8 it's got to be within range so why is she considering changing your dose at all? If you've got the ranges always please quote them when querying results, they differ from lab to lab.
