has anyone got any help for me. Since my radio iodine treatment, I’m flat and slow.
even an alternative to Levothyroxine would be good.
Thank you!

We always recommend testing levels first otherwise you don;t now what you need to supplement or how much.
You can ask your GP to do tests for ferritin, folate, B12 & D3 but you do also need full thyroid testing to see what your levo is doing and if you are converting well. You likely need to buy a private blood tests to get all that done. See link for companies offering private blood tests & discount codes, some offer a blood draw service at an extra cost. thyroiduk.org/help-and-supp...
Do you have a copy of your latest blood results that you can share with us? You are legally entitled to this, ask at GP reception. In England you can get the NHS app and ask for permission to see your blood results on that by asking at GP’s reception.
It's ideal if you can always get the same brand of levo at every prescription. You can do this by getting GP to write the brand you prefer in the first line of the prescription. Many people find that different brands are not interchangeable.
Do you know if you had positive thyroid antibodies? Many with autoimmune thyroid disease aka Hashimoto's benefit from a gluten free diet. A smaller percentage of those also need to remove dairy from their diet to feel well. These are intolerances and will not show up on any blood test.
Hey 👋
So I take iron for energy and and Vit C for my immunity also a woman’s multivitamin, all help massively
I also drink green tea which adds thyroid function
My diet has changed also so I eat anti-inflammatory foods
No alcohol & very little sweet stuff maybe some fruit sorbet or some natural sweets
Lots of fruit and veggies and lean meats and fish
I had my thyroid removed in September 2022 as I have thyroitoxicois and a 5cm nodule
So I’m still recovering and it’s only been 6 months since being put on levo, so at the moment my main focus is weight loss as that’s my main struggle
Best of luck
