Help please! hair loss/NDT request. Freaking out 😔

Hi All

Im freaking out as last 3 weeks my carers have found extra hair shedding than usual.

(Ive been very stressed about a poorly fur baby with side effects from her hyperthyroid drug! )

I have Hypothyroidism and used be on NDT but could not obtain few years ago so only on Metative 11. I take 4 capsules a day. As dont want Levo again.

I have severe M.E and very unwell with carers.

I also have adrenal fatigue.

Im just so ill and need to get NDT again. Can you PM where you get it now. I tried tai one years ago but wondered what there is now that is safe?

I found some small balding patches in night and could not sleep. So stressful.

I dont know what to do 😢 i dont want to loose my hair.

Please help if you can.

As we are not allowed to name sources of NDT on the group please send any information you have via private message. This post will be locked to prevent sources being named.

There are some unreliable sources of NDT/T3. Do PM an admin to check if we have any information about the supplier you choose. There are sites that will take your money and not provide the goods.

Hair loss is often caused by low ferritin levels.

When hypo we get low stomach acid which means we cannot absorb vitamins well from our food, regardless of a great diet. For thyroid hormone to work well we need OPTIMAL levels of vitamins. Have you recently or could you ask your GP to test levels of ferritin, folate, B12 & D3?
