this is brilliant, thank you. I would add that our family have hEDS which interferes with thyroid function, and has complicated all our efforts to maintain good health. However, recently, my dd25 has recently gone from vegan to omnivore, and she eats a lot of meat, and she has been able to stop t3 supplementation. We were amazed mainly because all her blood tests indicated she was OK diet wise.

ps. what is 'gogle extract', I've listened to this a thousand times and have no idea what he's talking about lol

Guggl extract... Looks like a plant!

Edit: further investigation shows it's a tree!

Seaside Suzie provided me a link to grassroots Vitamin D yesterday and one of the articles stated IF you have immune issues don’t supplement zinc…. I have never heard this from anyone until I read it yesterday. … has anyone heard this?

Personally i find zinc very helpful, its just important to have a steady low dose.

No, I have heard repeatedly, just the opposite - just as Dr. Westin Child's said here. Selenium and zinc are needed.

Personally, I had to stop taking selenium (too much to go into here), but zinc (and it is possible to go overboard) is needed for my return to health, as he said for the T3 / Reverse T3 to happen as each one needs it to. Dr. Westin Child sounds like he has done his own "practice" / research and has come up with very similar sounding advice...similar to Izabelle Wentz, similar to Dr. Alan Christianson, similar to Thyroid Canada (who is not a Dr. as many are ALL to quick to point out)...nevertheless....they all are finding the same solutions. I for one, am listening, and applying, and regaining my health.....with / including zinc.

Great Video! Dr. Westin Childs is a part of an increasing chorus of Dr.s promoting natural solutions to Hashimoto's, etc. What he is saying is in lockstep with many others - more to the point, these things really work. I for one, know from the application of the many things he offers as curative, really does work. When you hear the same thing from many different Dr..s (that you can do something about it), there has got to be a reason.

Thank you for posting. The adrenal glandulars that he speaks about is one (but I have applied all of them), made a real difference for me. 3 years off of pharmaceutical thyroid hormone replacement (after 30 years on), and yes, I do believe. I get my T3 likewise from minute quantities of bovine glandular. It wasn't until after I added the adrenal glandulars, and paid more attention to the anti-inflammatories (turmer, berberine, etc.) that I began to lose weight. It's baby steps in the right direction, and at the risk of sounding ridiculously over-repetitious, it works!
