So far I've dodged the covid nonsense

At least Covid/L covid has highlighted the issues people with ME suffer, also those with POTS and general dysautonomia. I had it long before it was fashionable. Still not had covid as far as I know. It's got far more professionals believing in the fatigue and dysautonomic issues people face, but not all.

It might even turn out to be a separate autoimmune disorder which is what POTS research is showing but I'm told it will take many more years for that to be finalised. ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161...

I just listened to the program and they talk about palpitations as being one of many covid/Long Covid symptoms and they never mention increase in thyroid issues …. I had covid in October of last year and I had palpitations for weeks that would spike to 140 bpm and then drop to 80 bpm and during this up and down I dropped 13 pounds even though I ate (stomach not infected)…. It took 3 weeks for my pulse to go back to normal for me and as you can imagine the weight came back.

Its been 5 months and my inflammation markers have doubled since having covid… Prior to covid my inflammation markers were within range.
