Searching for another T3 hormone..

Hello everybody

I live in Mexico since 4 years, and had my thyroid removed 6 years ago, and I am also diagnosed with Hashimoto.

Since I am taking Tirosint 75 mcg (T4) , and Thybon 20 Henning half a pill every day, I feel much better, then after surgery I took Novothyral and felt very bad.

Now Im looking for a replacement for Tirosint and Thybon, because I can not get these 2 brands here in Mexico, and it's quite complicated, to get these hormones in Switzerland.

I checked the Internet, and I can see that I can get here Synthroid and Eutirox.

I am a bit afraid to change brands, but maybe it could also work well to take something else than Tirosint.

Also I don't know any other brand for Liothyronin (T3) , wich I take with Thybon at the moment.

I am thankful for any suggestions. Thank you!

Karin

This is mainly a UK forum so we don't really have knowledge of what is available in Mexico. Maybe try some of the Facebook thyroid groups? Good luck.

@Helvella has a document that lists different brands of liothyronine and thyroxine by manufacturer and name. This might help you find an alternative, although not sure exactly what is available in Mexico.
