Change in dose - how long for improvement?

Looking for advice. I am at week four after alternate dose change to 75/100 from 100. I am feeling achy with intermittent pain in hands and feet and also tired. I felt overmedicated before with hunger and other hyper symptoms.

My vitamins end of Nov were in range and TSH was 0.03.

Also, I take Accord brand but 50 mcgs now and not 100 mcg and cut tablet for 75 mcg dose. Would this change in tablet make a difference in any way?

Thank you

Takes at least 6-8 weeks for a change in dose to settle

Did you test TSH, Ft4 and Ft3 before reducing dose

When you say vitamin levels were in range, what were actual results?

Make sure to test TSH, Ft4 and Ft3 at next test

Test early morning and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Definitely give it a few weeks longer before you make you mind up how it feels.

In my experience of a small dose reduction the first approx 5 weeks did feel undermedicated with all sorts of odd things coming and going.

After week 5 things settled down and then i very gradually started to improve. By about 4/6 months i realised i was sleeping much better than i had on previous dose ,and a couple of other things i hadn't thought related to overmedication had gone away, but if i'd been asked to make my mind up at week 4/5/6 i would have been absolutely adamant that the lower dose was too low . So i'm glad i stayed on the lower dose for long enough to allow it to really settle in and for my body to adjust itself .

The 50/ 100mcg tablet change is highly unlikely to be causing an issue as both still Accord.
