i’ve had the ozempic sitting in my fridge since december and i told myself today i would do it…. and here i am sobbing bc i’m so terrified of taking it and of the potential nausea and feeling sick side effects. i have a phobia/fear of throwing up so it’s making absolutely everything worse. i’ve been on levothyroxine for almost 6 months and it’s great and i’ve even been losing some weight. but the ozempic…. i’m scared

do you have diabetes? Maybe try other interventions first 🙂
As Relentlesssearch says do you have diabetes? From my limited knowledge isn't this medication for type 2 diabetes?
Please tell us more about you so we can offer help.Do you keep a record of your thyroid tests?
Can you share any thyroid and vitamin blood test results?
Why has ozempic been prescribed?
How much levothyroxine do you take?
6 months is not a long time for thyroid problems and it can take longer till you build up to the right dose of levothyroxine for you. Doctors often say everything is fine because your thyroid numbers look ok on paper but we know that even though they say this symptoms can linger. So please tell us more.
Here in the states some quake doctors prescribe it to a normal person for weight loss 🤦
I’m on Levothyroxine it’s been 3 years since i have been on it but always had problems with my thyroid but was never put on medication. Lalatoot so true with the numbers they go up & down. Anyways mine only kept going down so i was put on meds. I’m Type2 diabetic & i have PCOS as well i take metformin as well as Ozempic i’m on my 3rd week but messed up on 1st week with the needle so it’s 3rd wk with my 2nd injection & 4wk is 3 injection of it & n/wk i have an appointment to check in with doctor & do bloods. I haven’t had any side effects but i have had the thing in my brain that tells you that your filled up. i do have the not eating sensation for once & my thyroid dose had to be increased b/c i was on the wrong dose from 75mg too 175mg i feel much better 🙂
My Ozempic sat in the fridge for months too before I got up the nerve to use it! I’m been on a similar med for many yrs but was still scared. I finally started it 2 months ago. No side effects! No weight loss yet but I think it’s because my body was already used to this type of drug. I’m type 2 diabetic. I started at .25 mg and am now up to 1 mg.
