Advice on iron test results please

Having had a history of low ferritin and been prescribed iron tablets, I thought I’d do a test to see if I actually needed them.

Surprisingly, my ferritin level has improved but is still not optimal to support my thyroid.

Should I take the iron supplements?

Can you post the rest of your iron panel results. This should include serum iron and ferritin results as well as TIBC and T/S%.

You can only post one pic at a time so will need to post the others in more replies either to yourself or me. The showing reposted pic is the same as the one already posted above.

Alternatively you could just type them but include the ranges (numbers in brackets).

my unsaturated iron binding capacity is

56.4 ( 0-125)

Or (24.2-125)

There isn’t a range as I know it, just a line with optimal 24.2-70.1 then up to 125
