Coaxing the adrenals back into life / tapering off CelecoxibHappy New Year everyone and here's to (even?) better health in 2023.Following my Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR) going into remission in May 2021 I am still trying to coax my adrenals backs into life. Current dose is 10mg-15mg Hydrocortisone (HC) per day, depending on stress levels, workload and general fatigue. The formal diagnosis is Adrenal Insufficiency (very low synacthen scores), but not quite full Addison's Disease.I still take Celecoxib but have tapered from 400mg/day to 100mg/day and I would very much like to reduce to zero. Others have advised me of the downsides of Celecoxib and, having been on it, for 2 years, I would like to stop. Some questions:1) Tapering of Celecoxib - has anyone else done this? Any suggestions on the tapering approach? (I tapered off Pred successfully when I had PMR)2) Are there any foods to avoid or incorporate to help the adrenals restart?3) I notice that my Adrenal Insufficiency has a big impact on ability to exercise, subsequent muscle fatigue and general tiredness - any knowledge on how poor adrenals/low cortisol affect muscle operation would be useful.ThanksC
