'took you off because you were hyper ' ...... what do you mean by 'hyper' ?.. a low TSH ?. or a high T4/T3 ? , or symptoms that looked hyperthyroid ?
if you tell us a little more history we may be able to help .
eg TSH / fT4 / fT3 results + symptoms + thyroid history that led to you being started on thyroid hormone .
What were you taking ... levothyroxine ? or T3.
What dose you were put on / any changes in dose / TSH / fT4/ fT3 test results when on it .
Who diagnosed you as hyper? If the doctor used only the TSH test and ignored your hypo symptoms then I would ask for more tests.
