Changing the time of Levo dose

I’m on 75 strength Accord daily. I’ve been sleeping through my morning alarm sometimes (what luxury it is) and that upsets breakfast routine etc. I wish to start taking the Levo at bedtime, how do I best effect the change.? Do I simply just go straight over or do I phase it in. Appreciate this seems a trivial question, but I don’t want to muck things up. App1

Suppose you make the change on a Monday/Tuesday. You have a couple of choices:

1) Take your Levo in the morning on a Monday. Take your next dose on the Tuesday evening at whatever time you want to change it to, then carry on taking it in the evening from then on.

2) Take your Levo in the morning on a Monday. Take your next dose on the Monday evening, and then carry on taking it in the evening from then on.

I forgot another option.

You could split your Levo into two and take half a tablet in the morning and the other half in the evening. Do the same on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday take the whole pill in the evening, and carry on doing that.

thanks for getting back to me so promptly. I have been feeling so much better on this 75 (made up of 50 split Accord) it has made me sleep longer. The advice on vitamins via this site has also proved invaluable.

likely to need further increase in levothyroxine after next blood test in 6-8 weeks time
