Hi all again!

my most recent results are attached. I don't see my consultant again until mid-December but I don't know if I can wait that long.

I'm starting to get creeping mental health issues again, OCD flares are increasing in intensity, general anxiety, and mild depression. Physical symptoms too; fatigue, heaviness etc

I'm torn between increasing my dose and postponing my appointment and just waiting it out.

I currently take 50mg levo and 60mg Erfa in the morning and 45mg Erfa at bedtime.

Other factors to consider: we're in the process of moving house due to complete mid Jan. Its a renovation project so we'll be doing it up while we live in it.

My children are starting a new school next week due to the move.

I had the flu and covid booster 3 weeks ago and reacted badly too it.

I've started a new job and discovered only after I started that my predecessor had accused a staff member of bullying so that's playing on my mind.

So I have a fair amount of life stress happening as well.

I just don't know what to do for the best.

Don't worry too much as that will make you more stressed and worried about your new position.

You state "and discovered only after I started that my predecessor had accused a staff member of bullying so that's playing on my mind".

You may have a completely different experience. It could be that the person who has been bullying may not now do so. However if it does do not be afraid to tick him/her off by telling the person that you do not like bullying, so could they please stop.

Don't allow anyone to have the 'upper hand' just because you're new.

Yes, I'm grateful to know so I'm not going in blind but it's a concern that things might be a bit abrasive to start!

I'm just not sure what to do with my dose; whether to increase and postpone my appointment or hang fire and see what the consultant says.

I've just read your post today about stress and checked your old posts. It seems noone recommended anything for you after these results so I thought I'd at least try.

Your last dose drop was obviously too much an your FT3 is now too low. It probably needs to be around 70% of it's range. I don't see a result for FT4?

Vit D is good.

Folate too low. People here recommend a B complex Thorne Basic B to keep all the B vits balanced.

Ferritin is too low. Try eating folate rich foods like chicken liver pate or liver a few times a week.

Low vitamins mean you can't use your thyroid hormone properly and that's now compounded by not enough T3.

Not what you're looking for?
