What time of day was this test taken? It makes a difference, closest to 9am is best.
Low ferritin levels frequently cause heart rate issues.
The thing with NHS tests is they don't test the active hormone T3. Most people here get private tests done that show that result because that is what makes you feel good or bad depending on level. As you really need vitamin levels done also you could use Medichecks to do full thyroid profile and vitamins. They do a cheaper offer on Thursdays.
Vitamin levels needed are ferritin, folate, B12 and D3.
You may yet have central hypo but the right tests need to be done. It can be difficult to get a diagnosis for central hypo as doctors frequently just look at your TSH which is of course fine.
Request GP test vitamin D, folate, B12 and full iron panel test for anaemia including ferritin levels …plus thyroid antibodies for autoimmune thyroid disease
Low iron/ferritin levels frequently linked to hairloss
What’s your diet like
Are you vegetarian or vegan or gluten or dairy free diet
okay thank you, my diet is pretty good I mean I eat fruit and vegetables I am neither any of them I eat everything really.
I have requested to be referred or be tested again but we will see, if not I will go private but I can’t really afford to pay really but I will If I don’t get anywhere.
