This article tries to evaluate the best approaches to optimal treatment of patients. Though it quote our group, there is still no understanding of our complete physiological model that is a key entry to a proper analysis. Thyroidal FT3 still doesn't get the attention it deserves and this hampers any discussion that would bring patient closer to better diagnosis. Downloadable.

Thank you for sharing this. That the authors made this paper downloadable(and not behind a firewall) so that it can be shared with our healthcare providers is the heart of patient-centred care.

Thank you - is it my reading/understanding of it, that it focusses mainly on TSH as 'the' marker par excellence? 🙁

No, I don't think this is so. The doubts we initiated back in 2012 on the value of TSH as a diagnostic marker are finally coming to the surface generally and the next post on Bianco shows this.

Okido thanks - then it must me be being tired today! I just saw lots of references to TSH being 'the' marker. Thanks will wait for the next post on Bianco 👍
