Did you intend to include the results? Because they aren't there. :)

I have removed your image for two reasons

1) Including two sets of results makes them too small to read

2) It seems as though one of the pages is showing your name and hospital number - please ensure no personal information is showing to protect you from identity theft.

Feel free to repost your images, probably best as two separate ones to be readable, but hide any personal information.

Make an immediate appointment with GP today or tomorrow latest

B12 is BELOW range you need full testing for Pernicious Anaemia before starting straight away on B12 injections (most likely) or daily B12 supplements

How much levothyroxine are you currently taking

Did you increase your dose levothyroxine immediately pregnancy was confirmed?

Ft4 is too low …..you need 25mcg dose increase in levothyroxine immediately

How much vitamin D are you currently taking

What’s ferritin result

Red blood count below range

haemoglobin at bottom of range

hi thanks. No I'm not taking levothyroxine. I take a pregnancy vitamin. They said today that th results are fine.

Ring/contact GP

B12 is below range

They haven’t actually looked at the B12 result or red blood count or haemoglobin result

my ferritin is 204

look at previous post …..you’re not on levothyroxine or diagnosed with thyroid disease

healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

B12 was low in previous test and now has dropped significantly

Are you vegetarian or vegan?

Low red blood count and low haemoglobin likely linked to being B12 deficient

nhs.uk/conditions/vitamin-b...

b12deficiency.info/pregnancy/

Your growing baby will take all the B12 supplies it needs, leaving you as the mother desperately short.

not I'm not a Vegan or vegetarian. I eat mea. most days

Then it’s more likely your low B12 is due to pernicious anaemia

b12deficiency.info/pregnancy/

Pregnant women at greatest risk for Vitamin B12 deficiency include vegans and vegetarians, those with autoimmune pernicious anaemia, or malabsorption syndromes such as Crohn’s disease or coeliac disease. Those with a history of gastric bypass for weight loss, those on restrictive diets, and those with anorexia, or bulimia are also at a greater risk.

Ft4 is very low

Thyroid could be affecting B12 levels or deficient B12 is affecting Thyroid

Recommend you get FULL thyroid test privately

TSH, Ft4 and Ft3 plus TPO and TG antibodies

medichecks.com/products/thy...

Significant minority of Hashimoto’s patients only have high TG antibodies and struggle to get diagnosed on NHS

NHS currently won’t test Thyroglobulin antibodies because TPO antibodies are negative

Only do private testing early Monday or Tuesday morning around 9am

Get hold of GP

Did you note the comment re avoiding gas and air (nitrous oxide) during labour with very low B12

b12deficiency.info/pregnancy/

To keep you and your growing baby healthy during your pregnancy, it’s advised that you also avoid using nitrous oxide during labour. This gas can completely inactivate any remaining supply of B12, which can further malnourish you and potentially affect your newborn.

yes I did read this and my gp is all on line now so I have to wait till thursday for gp to back to me. But my gp will only say everything fine has they have before.

SlowDragonAdministrator in reply toTinal25

previous B12 was low ….but within range just at 9% through range

277 (211-911)

So GP wasn’t obligated to treat

Now…your B12 is deficient and you’re pregnant

Red blood cell count BELOW range

haemoglobin 0% through range

You will need loading dose B12 over next 2 weeks

b12deficiency.info/what-to-...

You should be given loading doses by injection. (Six injections over 2 weeks.) Please note: Oral B12 tablets should only be prescribed f the deficiency is caused by a proven dietary lack.If you have neurological symptoms then your doctor must treat you as per NICE Guidelinesand BNF (British National Formulary) guidelines, these both state that you must stay on loading dose frequency (every other day injections) until symptoms stop improving. Each practice has a copy of The BNF book and the Guidelines are found at (9.1.2.).
