You haven't given the reference range so am I correct in thinking that your result is in range and not below range? If so that would be the reason your GP has said your result is normal.

However, TSH does not show our thyroid status, it is a pituitary hormone, not a thyroid hormone. For a full picture you need a full thyroid panel - TSH, FT4, FT3 and if possible thyroid antibodies.

Is that all that was tested?

Not good enough. Can’t really say whether that result means your thyroid is ok.

What are your symptoms?
