do I need to separate Lexapro at least four apart from synthroid due to inactive ingredients such magnesium, aluminum, titanium. Is that why my thyroid want stabilize because I am taking to close together?

How close together do you take them? Two hour apart should be ok.

The usual reason for thyroid hormone levels not 'stabilising' is because the doctor is dosing by the TSH. :)

I am not pushing Lexapro back to 3.5 hrs apart. It might be that Lexapro side effects are worse taking closer to thyroid. Do you know much about how to interpret female hormones? I always base my med thyroid on t4

Well, that should be ok.

Sorry, I don't know about interpreting female hormones - sex hormones, I guess you mean, because men have them too.

It's the FT3 that is the most important number when dosing thyroid hormones. But, what do you mean by 'stabilising'?

My levels are constantly up and down ft4,tsh,and t3.

Lexapro is designed to affect levels of serotonin. Much of our serotonin is in our gut and therefore gut function alters. This in turn can affect our absorption of synthroid. This has been documented in studies if you do a Google search. It means that some folks on lexapro need a slight increase in thyroid meds to compensate.
