Hi, yes I’m now in my 3rd month so have reached the usual maximum dose after slowly increasing. Upsets my stomach a little but otherwise helpful. Less fatigue, bit better sleep, allergies less severe and reduced need for T3. Medichecks test after 1 month showed I was over medicated whereas previous test showed I was then in the bottom third of range. I’ve reduced my T3 & will test again soon. Dickson Chemist in Glasgow are very efficient & arrange a phone consultation with a prescriber. Meds sent out by post. Generally I’m pleased with results.
Thank you Bertwills. Do I understand correctly that your FT3 went up on the LDN?
Yes. On the same dose, 50mcg T3 only I went from below middle range to above top range. Only change in my regime was adding in LDN. I think it is known to do this. I’m due another consultation very soon so I will discuss my results with the nurse practitioner. Hope that’s helpful.
Thanks again. Maybe I should have started with the LDN instead of the Cytomel to bring up the Ft3 from the bottom of the reference interval. But, I guess, this is what it is all about...experimenting till the solution is found. Just started T3, so will see how that works (compounded was a flop) and then ad LDN (if necessary) and take it from there. Thanks for all the info. Enjoy the weekend.
