My levo dose is 125 mcg +t3 but I have a terrible anxiety, blurred vision, brain fog and increased heart rate around noon that diminishes in the evning. I was wondering if I could split the dose, for exmpl, 112 +t3 in the morning and 12,5 +t3 in the afternoon. I'm terribly bothered by that spike between 11-13. Would I get rid of these inconvenience?

There's someone here who is split the daily levothyroxine dose?
There's no problem with splitting levothyroxine doses but it is far more likely that your L-T3 dose is causing the problem. Try taking half your L-T3 in the morning and half (or more) at bedtime. I find the bedtime dose gives deeper sleep and improved cognitive function the next day.
Hi, I split the T3 into 3 doses, (5mcg in the morning +5 at noon and another 5 at bedtime), but it is not enough. I don't feel I have enough energy. I ordered from a compound pharmacy some slow-release T3 (10mcg) from the morning dose, let's see what happens.
25mcg of T3 is equal (approx) to 100mcg of T4.
I take 20mcg of T3 when I awake - with one glass of water - and wait an hour before I eat. I have no clinical symptoms and feel well. (I did take 25mcg but in UK they only produce 20mcg).
I follow Dr John Lowe, scientist, researcher, expert in T3 (he himself took T3). He was also an Adviser to Thyroiduk but had a very bad fall which was fatal but his widow now deals with providing Thyro-gold that he invented. I used to take 25mcg T3 but they've now reduced it to 20mcg and have no problems (yet and hope it continues).
I have always split my levo dose. At one time I split it into 3 doses but now I take it in 2 doses along with my lio doses.
Hi, and how do you split?do you divide them equally or do you take a higher dose in the morning and a lower dose in the afternoon?
I split my Levothyroxine dose. I take half at noon and the other half at 4pm. I take liquid Levothyroxine so it’s really easy to split in liquid form. I don’t think it matters what time you take it or splitting it as long as you take your required dose. My blood tests results are always in range and more importantly I feel really well. I also take Liothyronine T3 and split my dose 5mcg first thing and a further 5mcg about 3pm. I know it’s a bit of a faff but it really does work for me. My T4 and T3 levels are always in range and I feel energised and youthful. My TSH is around 1.00. Latest was 0.91(0.35-5.50 range) on 30 June this year. I use to get spikes and feel weak and those points. Splitting my doses has stopped that. The other thing that may bring on a spike is lack of exercising. If this happens, which is rare these days, I go on a fast walk if I can pushing through it and that works too. I have to keep busy. I walk briskly a lot. Best thing for me is split doses and exercise. I’m full of energy normally. However, this week I’ve tested positive for covid and have been suffering with that. So no brisk walking or going out. Not sure what might happen.
Interesting, So you're saying you have the same energy as if you took the whole dose when you wake up(And throughout the day)?
